Rhian Brewster has been left out of the Liverpool squad to face Lincoln City in the Carabao Cup as he nears a move to one of three clubs interested in his services.
The 20-year-old striker remains the subject of intense interest from Premier League duo Sheffield United and Aston Villa, and Championship club Swansea City.
Swansea are keen to bring the England U21 international back to the Liberty Stadium after he scored 11 goals in 22 games for the club while on loan last season.
Elsewhere, Villa are closely monitoring the situation as they see Brewster as a replacement for potential outgoing attacker Mbwana Samatta.
