Renfrewshire could be set for a bout of freezing weather conditions as a yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued by the Met Office.

Starting from today and lasting until tomorrow night, the warning urges people to take care as temperatures are predicted to plummet to zero with ice, hail and snow showers set to sweep Renfrewshire and other areas in the west of Scotland.Snow showers and ice are expected to cause disruption to travel throughout the area, with Traveline Scotland urging motorists to take care on the roads.Rail travel is also expected to be impacted by the weather conditions.The yellow warning is expected to come to en end at 6pm on Thursday, when the freezing conditions head towards the northeast.A spokesperson.
