Rebecca Luker has died aged 59 after ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) battle. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease.
The actress starred on TV shows including Boardwalk Empire, Good Wife and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Broadway star Rebecca died on Wednesday, leaving her family and friends devastated.
Her theatrical debut saw Rebecca star in The Phantom of the Opera in 1988 on Broadway. As well as TV and theatre, the actress mastered the art of films.
She starred in films including Not Fade Away and The Rewrite. Rebecca was diagnosed with ALS last year. She had a commanding presence on the entertainment world and she was a three-time Tony nominee.
