Prince Harry jetted back to the UK to be by his father King Charles' side after learning of his cancer diagnosis, however their reunion was abruptly cut short, a royal expert has revealed.

The Duke of Sussex boarded a BA flight from LAX on Monday evening and met his father for around 30 to 45 minutes before the King left for his flight to Sandringham, writes The Mirror.Sunday Times Royal Editor Roya Nikkah joined Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday morning and said that Harry would have liked to have spent longer with his father.

She said: "The briefing that came out after their meeting was very interesting, 'The King was very tired after his procedure he'd had the day before'. "So we know he started his treatment on Monday, we understand he had a procedure then for his cancer and the briefing was, he felt quite tired.

I'm sure Harry would have loved to have spent much more time with him, but he's quite respectful of his dad going through his treatment." The royal editor revealed that reports suggest Harry and his father have not ruled out another meeting while the duke is in the UK.
