Reality TV star dead at 37 after heart attack

A reality TV star who lost an incredible 32 stone has died has died after suffering a heart attack while sleeping in bed, it was reported today.

Gabriel Freitas appeared on a the Brazilian series Become Another Person where viewers followed his remarkable weight loss journey going from more than 50 stone to just 18 stone following an enormous lifestyle change.

He died aged just 37 on December 30, according to close friend Ricardo Gouvea, following a troubled time that saw him put the weight back on following the death of both his dad and brother, reports the Mirror, which says that he weighed nearly 60 stone when he died.

Ricardo paid tribute to his late friend, saying: "Gabriel died practically sleeping, he didn't suffer. He died trying. He fought to the end, he was very strong and I have a lot of respect for him.
