Prince William reportedly "disliked" Meghan Markle "from the start" according to claims made in royal author Omid Scobie's new book.The bombshell royal biography Endgame which hit shelves this week delved into the Duchess of Sussexes' strained relationship with her estranged brother-in-law William after starting their relationship entirely on the wrong foot.Omid, who has previously been dubbed as the unofficial mouthpiece of Meghan also revealed the real reason why the former Suits actress will never return to the UK.Scobie writes: "William had been wanting to distance himself from his brother ever since Harry’s marriage to Meghan—whom the then Duke of Cambridge took a disliking to from the start".He also claimed that Harry was "no longer useful as a helpful distraction or collateral damage" to William, who now considers his younger brother as an "outsider" and explains his eagerness to distance himself from the Sussexes, the Mirror reports.He continues on to say that Meghan has no desire to "dive back into the soap opera of the court” and is trying to avoid being pulled "back into the institution’s whirlwind of games and manipulations which is the same vortex that had hauled them toward its dark centre for four years".This explains the duchess' noticeable absence at the King's Coronation back in May which Prince Harry flew back to the UK to attend the historical crowning alone.
