Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Hollywood plan has reportedly "backfired" as crisis managers say they will have to work very hard to "recover" from the fallout of Endgame.The controversial royal biography by Omid Scobie hit shelves last month, causing chaos in the monarchy after it reignited the royal racism row that was first started by the Duchess of Sussex during an interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.A Dutch translation of the book named King Charles and Kate Middleton as the two Firm members who allegedly raised "concerns" about the skin colour of Meghan and Harry's son, Prince Archie, before he was born.The Dutch translator who worked on the book has insisted that the names of the monarch and the Princess of Wales were in the manuscript she was sent but Scobie has denied including their names in any version of Endgame.
Speaking from her home in Arnhem, Saskia Peeters, who worked on the book, said she did not add the two royals into the copy she translated, the Mirror reports.She said: “As a translator, I translate what is in front of me.
The names of the royals were there in black and white. I did not add them. "I just did what I was paid to do and that was (to) translate the book from English into Dutch.”Xander, the publishers, released a statement which read: “Xander Uitgevers is temporarily withdrawing the book Eindstrijd by Omid Scobie from sale.
