Prince Harry reportedly declined an offer from his father to stay at a Royal residence due to concerns over his security, according to recent reports.
The Duke of Sussex was in London for three nights to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games but did not meet with any other members of the Royal family, including King Charles.A spokesperson for Harry attributed this to the monarch's busy schedule.
However, insiders claim that Charles had agreed to Harry's request to stay at a royal residence, given that he no longer has an official UK home. This could have provided an opportunity for a meeting outside their hectic schedules.
But, as per the Telegraph, Harry rejected the offer as it did not include any security provision and he would be staying in a "visible location with public entrance and exit points and no police protection".Instead, Harry reportedly chose to stay in a hotel for privacy.
