Early ratings are in from Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump‘s debate on Tuesday night (September 10).

The presidential nominees took the stage for the event, which was hosted by ABC News and broadcast across multiple networks.

While it’s still early, the numbers are dramatically different than they were when President Joe Biden debated Donald earlier this summer as the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election. The data was compiled by Nielsen, and the number of viewers is expected to increase as additional data becomes available. Donald‘s debate with Joe brought in a total of 51.27 million viewers, meaning that early numbers show that more than six million additional people were watching the second debate.
