Rangers have called for SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster to be suspended - along with the organisation's legal adviser Rod McKenzie.
In an explosive statement, the Ibrox club say they have been given evidence via a whistleblower that 'raises serious concerns' about the SPFL's handling of their voting process.
They say it means questions must be asked over the governing of the organisation and Rangers interim chairman Douglas Park has described it as ‘farcical’.
Rangers say they attempted to contact Doncaster to discuss the alleged evidence that they’ve received and Doncaster initially refused to do so before the SPFL sent an email, in what Rangers feel was an attempt to silence their questions.
