Ed Sheeran

Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Steven Gerrard

Steven George Gerrard MBE (born 30 May 1980) is an English professional football manager and former player who manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers.

He spent the majority of his playing career as a central midfielder for Liverpool, with most of that time spent as club captain, as well as captaining the England national team. Widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time,

Gerrard was awarded the UEFA Club Footballer of the Year award in 2005, and the Ballon d'Or Bronze Award. In 2009, Zinedine Zidane and Pelé said that they considered Gerrard to be the best footballer in the world.

Rangers boss Steve Gerrard mocked over 'basic' film and music recommendations

Steven Gerrard was thoroughly mocked on social media after revealing that his taste in music, movies, books and television series was somewhat lacking in depth.

When it came to his musical recommendations, the Liverpool hero plumped for the internationally famous Ed Sheeran at No.1, the legendary Manchester band Oasis at No.2, Fleetwood Mac at three, the Beatles at four and Coldplay at five.

In terms of films that he would advise people to watch, Gerrard's list was barely any less commercial. The Rangers boss went for The Wolf of Wall Street at the top of his list, followed by Stepbrothers, Scarface, Goodfellas and The Shawshank Redemption.
