EastEnders is reportedly set to lose Rainie Cross as she packs her bags and drives away from Albert Square in a taxi in this week’s episodes.

Rainie, played by actress Tanya Franks in the BBC soap, will leave Walford with baby Roland, according to The Sun. Rainie has been separated from her son after husband Stuart deserted the youngster amid a secret battle with post-natal depression, leaving the baby with surrogate Bernie. But as Rainie waited with Callum, Violet, Bernie and Mitch, Stuart failed to appear and Rainie got into a taxi with Roland to leave.This comes after actress Maddy Hill saw her final scenes on the soap aired last week, as her character Nancy Carter decided to leave the Square.
