Kate Middleton and Prince William first met after receiving her A-level results today (August 18).The Queen's granddaughter, 18, will be studying English at St Andrews University and is set to start her degree course in September.
She follows in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who both attended the university in Fife, Scotland. A Palace spokesman said: “Having received her A-level results today, Lady Louise will start at St Andrews University in September to study English.”This year English literature actually fell out of the top 10 most popular subjects at A-level for the first time ever.It saw the biggest drop in candidates for a single subject, falling by 9.4% from 39,492 in 2021 to 35,791 this year.Louise has been dubbed the Queen's favourite grandchild and grew up largely away from the spotlight.
