Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Marcus Rashford and Joe Wicks are among those who have been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours, along with hundreds of key workers who have helped Britain fight the coronavirus crisis.

England football star Rashford has been made an MBE at the age of just 22 for his heroic efforts which ensured free school meals during the summer holidays for some of Britain's poorer families struggling during the pandemic.Body Coach Wicks will receive the same honour for helping people keep fit during the Covid-19 lockdown with online fitness classes.The release of this year's list was postponed from June in order to include people, such as medical staff, fundraisers and volunteers who have been important in battling the deadly coronavirus.
