The Queen is unlikely to visit her poorly husband of 73 years as he was transferred to another hospital for heart scans, it has been claimed by royal commentators.
Prince Philip was initially admitted to King Edward VII Hospital on February 16 as a precautionary measure after feeling unwell - marking his longest ever stay in hospital.
On Monday the 99-year-old was transferred to another hospital so he can have scans on a pre-existing heart condition. This means the Duke of Edinburgh has now been in hospital for 14 days, beating his previous longest stint of 11 days in 2013 after an operation on his abdomen.
