Quantum Leap renewed for Season 2 on NBC... with over 10 million viewers tuning into the premiere

The cast and creative team of NBC's Quantum Leap were given an early Christmas present: a Season 2 renewal.NBC announced the news on Monday, also revealing that the series premiere episode has amassed 10.8 million viewers on linear, digital and streaming platforms like NBCUniversal's Peacock.The show has the biggest launch on Peacock to date and is currently the #2 new broadcast show within the all-important 18-49 age demographic, according to an NBC press release.

The renewal comes just two months after NBC ordered an additional six episodes of the series, bringing its first-season order to 18 episodes.
