Fans spot mistake in iconic Love Actually scene that 'ruined' the film for them

Love Actually has been a much loved Christmas romcom hit since its release 20 years ago now, the Mirror reports. However, beady eyed fans on social media have spotted a mistake in one particular famous scene that they now claim has 'ruined' the entire movie for them.The hit movie starring big names such as Hugh Grant, Dame Emma Thompson and Keira Knightley is watched by millions across the world every year.

But fans have spotted a blunder in one of the most tear jerking scenes of the entire movie - when Emma Thompson's character, Karen discovers her husband, Harry played by the late Alan Rickman is cheating on her.The scene shows Karen breaking down in tears in her bedroom after she finds a gift her husband has bought for another woman.

She braves the heartbreak alone in the room before quickly rearranging the bed and composing herself to go and re join the family downstairs.However, viewers have pointed out one major mistake which has now sparked some social media backlash - there are no pillows on the bed.

One commented: "Why doesn't she have any pillows?" Another remarked: "There's no pillows on the bed in the scene where she cries after not getting the necklace." A third user said: "Just noticed Emma Thompson and Alan Rickman have no pillows on their bed in Love Actually and quite frankly the whole film is ruined for me." Another joked: "Whaaaat??
