Ministers are drawing up a three-stage exit plan for England to leave lockdown that could see pubs and restaurants shut until May, according to reports.
Boris Johnson has confirmed that the lockdown will continue until at least March 8, with schools the first to open from that point.
Now officials are working on proposals that then could see most shops closed until April, and pubs and restaurants shut until May, the Telegraph reports.
But with the reopening dependent on data including case rates, hospital deaths and the vaccine roll-out programme it could be weeks later before all pupils are back at school.
