Mr Floyd, 46, was an African-American man who was arrested outside a store in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 25.Footage of the arrest shows police officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on Mr Floyd's neck for eight minutes and 46 seconds, despite him pleading "I can't breathe".Ella Caldwell, 22, said she would be taking the knee in Old Trafford tonight in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.She said: "I'm taking the knee because I don't believe in 2020 black people should still be fighting for basic human rights."Matthew Hampson is also supporting the campaign.He said: "In Oldham we are taking the knee in Uppermill.
