dailystar.co.ukprison inmate who allegedly took a guard hostage has been shot dead after a riot was live-streamed on social media.Firearms officers killed the unnamed lag who reportedly stole the worker's keys and unleashed mayhem at a notorious US lockup.The suspect freed convicts from their cells who started chanting and pounding on Oklahoma County jail's gates on Saturday.A prisoner complained about the "horrendous" conditions inside in videos which were posted on Twitter and Facebook as the officer was being held.The clips included footage of the officer being taunted by a dancing prisoner while on his knees.
The Oklahoman reported that the local sheriff office was called just before 4.30pm after the detention officer was taken hostage.
