Andrew Lee, expert in Global Public Health at University of Sheffield said while there is "no zero-risk solution" in our efforts to return to normality, the current plan was a "fairly measured approach".
Mr Lee said while lifting restrictions will increase infection risks, the vaccine programme was a "key countermeasure". He wrote: "Each phased lifting of restrictions will increase the infection risk.
