The 38-year-old Duke of Cambridge visited Spartans FC’s Ainslie Park Stadium and played some soccer on Friday afternoon (May 21) in Edinburgh, Scotland.
At the stadium, William learned about initiatives in Scottish football that champion mental health. He also met with club volunteers who helped deliver food to the community during the pandemic. William suited up earlier in the day to inspect the Guard of Honour on the forecourt of the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
He was welcomed to the city in the Ceremony of the Keys. While in Scotland, Will and Kate are known as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn.
