Following King Charles' Coronation on 6 May, Prince William has started to think about what he'd like his own crowning to look like in the future, according to reports.
The Prince of Wales, 40, watched as his father Charles, 74, was crowned king in a historic ceremony at Westminster Abbey along with step-mother Camilla, 75, after he acceded to the throne in September 2022 following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
William has reportedly been reflecting on Charles' Coronation and it has prompted him to begin thinking about his own crowning, which he hopes will be "modern" and "relevant", according to sources.
A source told The Times: “He is really thinking, how do we make his Coronation feel most relevant in the future? He is mindful of the fact that in 20 years’ time, or whenever his time comes, how can the Coronation be modern but also unifying to the nation and the Commonwealth?
