Prince Philip is reportedly keen to have a “low key” 99th birthday next week and doesn’t want anyone to make a fuss. Owing to coronavirus lockdown measures, the Duke of Edinburgh's children won’t be able to drop by Windsor Caste next Wednesday.
Philip has been in isolation at Windsor Castle with The Queen since before Easter. On June 10, Philip’s birthday will be marked by lunch with The Queen and Zoom and phone calls with family and friend – including Prince Charles in Scotland, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Norfolk and Harry and Meghan in Los Angeles.
