Prince Harry stepped back from his royal duties three years ago and will be "pleased" with what he's achieved ahead of his birthday this month, having "broken free from the royal straitjacket", a royal expert said.
The Duke of Sussex made the move to California with his wife Meghan Markle and her native in 2020, shortly after announcing they were stepping back from their roles as working royals.
The couple has remained in the US ever since, residing in Montecito - a town in California where they now class it as "home", despite occasionally returning to the UK for royal events.
On September, 15 Harry will mark his 39th birthday which can be a time of reflection as he looks back on what he's achieved in recent years.
