Prince Harry has been told he must "give notice" to King Charles if he wants to stay at Windsor Castle after he was denied a room earlier this month.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, returned to the UK for the WellChild Awards on the eve of the first anniversary of the Queen's death but was declined a room in Windsor Castle.

Harry made the trip to the UK alone, while wife Meghan Markle stayed at their home in California with their two children - Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

It's believed Harry wanted to stay in Windsor so he could visit the Queen's resting place at St George's Chapel the following day.
