Fans of the Royal Family have been reacting to the news that Prince Harry will not be wearing military uniform at ceremonial events to honour his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

It is understood that he won't be allowed to wear his uniform as he is no longer a working royal – and this includes being unable to wear the traditional garb at the late Queen's funeral. The funeral is set for Monday 19 September and will take place at Westminster Abbey.

It is thought to be a "huge blow" to the prince, who was stripped of his royal titles when he stepped down from royal duties alongside the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

It is believed that Prince Andrew, however, will be allowed to wear his military uniform to the final vigil of his late mother, despite no longer being an active working member of the family.
