Prince Harry seemed despondent when he arrived back in the US after a journey to Nigeria with Meghan Markle, according to a royal expert.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen at Los Angeles airport on Monday after an 18-hour flight, with Meghan leading the way and Harry following behind looking glum.Royal commentator Tom Quinn suggested that Harry's upset appearance could relate to his brief UK trip before going to Nigeria.
Harry had wished to visit his father, King Charles, during the stopover, but it was stated that Charles was too busy. In an exclusive conversation with the Mirror, Tom said: "Harry tried desperately to put a brave face on it during his recent visit to the UK, but his real feelings were apparent when he landed back in Los Angeles.
It was impossible not to see how downcast and upset he looked."He added: "And it's no surprise because he had hoped to see his father, and for a good deal longer than their 30-minute meeting last time he was in the UK."Harry had previously returned to the UK earlier this year, where he visited King Charles at Clarence House after news of his cancer diagnosis was announced.
