Primary school in Wigan closes for deep clean amid coronavirus

manchestereveningnews.co.ukA primary school in Wigan has asked parents to collect their children this morning so it can shut for a deep clean. Hindsford CE Primary School, in Hindsford, Atherton, has become the latest school to shut it doors because of the coronavirus.
The move comes after staff received a call to say that a family from the school have 'been in direct contact with a person who has been to Northern Italy recently'.
In a Facebook post to parents, the school said: "The family members are presenting with symptoms although there are no confirmed cases at this point.
