Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
President Biden Sets Next Interview With NBC News’ Lester Holt
variety.comTodd Spangler NY Digital Editor President Biden will continue to try to make the case to American voters that he’s the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump this fall, as the incumbent president has set his next sit-down interview with NBC News anchor Lester Holt.
Holt will interview Biden in a one-on-one interview on Monday, July 15, in Austin, Texas. The full interview will air in its entirety during a primetime special on NBC that evening at 9 p.m.
ET. The special will also stream at 9 p.m. ET on the NBC News Now digital platform. In addition, portions of the interview will air earlier in the day on July 15 on “NBC Nightly News” with Holt at 6:30 p.m.
ET and clips and coverage will be available on nbcnews.com. According to NBC News, the full interview and unedited transcript will also be available following the primetime special on the network’s website.
