VAR has continued to be both problematic and controversial since arriving in the Premier League back in 2019. Some sides have been more fortunate than others when it has come to the technology this term. Liverpool were on the receiving end of VAR's most high-profile mistake to date after seeing a legitimate Luis Diaz goal scored at Tottenham Hotspur ruled out due to miscommunication between officials.
