Man City and Man Utd's rising season ticket prices compared – including 42% price hike in a decade

The former - who clinched a record fourth Premier League title in a row - have introduced a 10.4% rise for their cheapest adult season ticket for next season.
Their current £385 cost has increased to £425 in what could be Pep Guardiola's last season at the Etihad Stadium. Their city rivals are also one of the 47 clubs in the Premier League and EFL that have decided to jack up the price of their season tickets next season.
United have opted for a 5% increase from £551 to £579. And Man City have been one of the biggest culprits. The cheapest adult season ticket would have set back a City fan £299 in the 2014/15 season - where they went into that campaign as the defending Premier League champions.
