Sheridan Smith has been praised for her touching performance in the ITV hit Isolation Stories. The former Gavin and Stacey actress, 38, played Mel in the 15-minute episode which focuses on four stories from the coronavirus pandemic.
Since the outbreak of Covid-19, over 28,000 people have died in care homes, hospitals and the wider community. Sheridan, who is due to welcome her first baby, a boy, with fiancé Jamie Horn later this month showcased her blossoming baby bump in an adorable scene.
Her character, Mel, sang to her unborn child before highlighting her bump while donning a selection of maternity clothing. Fans instantly took to Twitter to praise the blonde beauty.
