A pre-inquest review has opened into the death of a young woman who fell to her death from a Stockport tower block. Shop worker Shelby Drinkwater, 21, died after falling from a window in Norris Towers on Wilkinson Road, Heaton Morris, in the early hours of July 20.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. At the review at Stockport Coroners Court, Area Coroner Chris Morris agreed that as Ms Drinkwater's death was not natural, a full inquest is necessary.
He formally adjourned the inquest to gather evidence from Greater Manchester Police, Ms Drinkwater's GP and the mental health trust.
