A vigil paying tribute to a young woman who died after reportedly being stabbed in Manchester city centre is due to take place this weekend.
Elinor O'Brien was found unresponsive at a property in Great Northern Tower on Tuesday 16 August by paramedics, and later died in hospital from her injuries.
A man has been charged with the 22-year-old's murder and is due to stand trial next year. Heartbroken friends and family of Ms O'Brien have arranged a memorial on what would have been her 23rd birthday this Sunday (August 28) at Albert Park in Salford at 6.30pm.
People are also being urged to release balloons from any gym across the city as that's where Elinor 'loved to be.' READ MORE:Passengers blast Manchester Airport after being 'trapped in fire escape' Tributes poured in for Ms O'Brien following her death last week.
