Odeon has confirmed it is ‘aware’ of plans to redevelop the Great Northern Warehouse which would see the ‘removal’ of its cinema.
The plans were released for consultation on Wednesday (September 7). They also revealed an ambition for the complex to build two towers containing 750 apartments, and create a ‘green oasis’ outside the venue.
However, one of the most eye-catching details is the aforementioned ‘removal’ of the 1990s ‘Leisure Box’ extension and cinema.
