A hero policewoman working coronavirus lockdown shifts was left in tears after finding a pig's head dumped on her car windscreen.

The cop - who has only been named as Laura - felt "violated" as she left her house to start her shift with British Transport Police at 5am, reports The Sun.

As an essential worker, Laura, 24, from Hackbridge in Surrey, has been working tirelessly to keep the country safe during the coronavirus lockdown and was horrified to find the animal body part.

The devastated woman, who lives with her parents, and is said to have joined the police when she was just 18, ran back into her house in tears.
