Police have issued an appeal after a 'young girl' was involved in an 'altercation' in a park in Heywood. Members of the public called officers over concerns for the girl's welfare on Sunday evening.
The girl was believed to have been 'involved in an altercation' with two people in Queens Park at around 8.30pm, Greater Manchester Police said.

Detectives believe the girl knew the person she left with but have issued an appeal for anyone with information, 'no matter how small', to come forward.
