Police have appealed for help after a cyclist was killed in a crash. The fatal collision occurred on August 30 at 9.30pm on Wellington Road, in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
Police were called following reports a black Mercedes had crashed into a female cyclist. Paramedics at the scene blocked off the road.
The woman was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary where she later died. They are urging anyone with information or dash-cam footage to come forward. A GMP spokeswoman said: “At around 9:30pm on Tuesday 30 August, a black Mercedes c220 travelled in an Easterly direction along Wellington Road in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
