Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

Police raid uncovers heroin and crack cocaine haul in Ayrshire as six arrested in connection with drugs discovery

Police have uncovered two considerable drug caches in Ayrshire towns this weekend.Cops raided properties in Ayr and Kilmarnock on Friday and recovered heroin, cocaine and valium as part of concerted efforts to crackdown on drug supply in the region.Ayr officers in possession of a warrant hit Fort Street first and discovered quantities of heroin and crack cocaine were recovered, with an estimated street value of around £1,000.

Around £5,400 in cash was also recovered.Two women, aged 37 and 48, and a 49-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with drug offences and are due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court tomorrowLater in the day, cops raided a home in Fulton’s Lane in Kilmarnock.Officers found £1,000 worth of heroin and Valium, as well as around £1,400 in cash.Two men, aged 42 and 32, and a 26-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with drug offences and are due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court at a later date.Detective sergeant Andrew Dunlop, of Ayrshire proactive crime team, said: “We have arrested six people concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.“We are committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.“I would urge anyone who is aware of any information about the supply of drugs to report the matter to police on 101, or anonymously through independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”Don't miss the latest Ayrshire headlines –sign up to our free daily newsletter here
