The teenage boy who murdered 12-year-old schoolgirl Ava White told a police officer "shut up you nonce" while being questioned about the killing.
Ava was fatally stabbed in the neck Liverpool city centre on November 25 last year. A trial heard a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, knifed Ava in the neck in an argument over him filming her on Snapchat.
The boy, referred to as Boy A, smirked and laughed afterwards, then ran away and ditched his flick knife, designer coat and mobile phone in a "cover up".
The killer - accused of showing a "callous disregard" for the schoolgirl - took selfies, got butter for crumpets and played Call of Duty at a friend's flat while Ava was dying, the Liverpool ECHO reports.
