Police race to Edinburgh street for ongoing incident following 'disturbance'

Police have raced to the scene of an ongoing incident following a 'disturbance' on an Edinburgh street this evening. Officers were called to Burdiehouse Drive in the capital after the alarm was raised at around 4.40pm on Monday.

Pictures taken from the scene showed at least five police cars in attendance on the residential street.The street was blocked off by two vehicles and an eyewitness told Edinburgh Live a dog unit was also called to the scene.

It's understood police remain in attendance at the scene on the ongoing incident.
