Highlands roads have been closed by police following crashes, with two people rushed to hospital. The A99 at Lybster and the A87 near Kyle of Lochalsh have both been shut by cops due to road traffic incidents.

Motorists and members of the public have been urged to avoid both areas until emergency services have dealt with the crashes.Diversions have been put in place on the A87 for drivers to follow.
