Police investigating the "unexplained" death of a toddler at a nursery have issued an update, as tributes are paid to the youngster.The two-year-old boy, whose name has not yet been disclosed to the public, tragically died after what was described as a "medical episode" at the Early Learners Day Nursery in Bootle, Merseyside, on Tuesday, January 14.He was rushed to hospital, but was sadly pronounced dead.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, reports the Mirror.Merseyside Police said on Friday that enquiries were ongoing, as locals shared tributes and messages of support for the family online and left flowers, teddy bears and messages outside the nursery following the news.One tribute, shared on social media by Charlie Robinson said: "R.I.P you beautiful little boy!
