First picture of dad and daughter, 6, found dead in West Calder as police issue major update
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA young father and his six year old daughter, tragically found dead in a double tragedy, have been named and pictured. The bodies of 36-year-old Mark Gordon and his little girl were discovered inside their family home in West Calder, Scotland, on Monday.
Police were called to the property in West Lothian following a "report of concern for a person inside". Their deaths are being treated as "unexplained" with investigations continuing.
Post-mortem examinations will be conducted in due course. Scotland police have stated that there is no current evidence to suggest the involvement of anyone else.
Chief Inspector Elaine McArthur-Kerr described the incident as "very upsetting and worrying" for local residents. She said anyone with concerns can approach the police.
