Police chiefs investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a much-loved teenager have renewed an appeal for the public's help Jonty Evans, 16, was reported missing by his family on Saturday, August 31.
Sadly, his body was found in the River Weaver, near Riverside in Nantwich, Cheshire on Sunday, September 1. An investigation into how Jonty entered the water remains ongoing.
Police have previously said two 16-year-old boys, both from Crewe, have been 'eliminated' from the ongoing investigation. READ MORE: The family party where we noticed something different about Clarke Officers are now appealing to anyone who may have been in the Mill Island and Riverside area of Nantwich between 12.30am and 6am on August 31, and who may have information which could assist the investigation.
Officers are also asking the public to contact them if they believe they may have CCTV, ring doorbell or dashcam footage in the area during the same time period, reports Cheshire Live.
