Police issue appeal after motorcyclist killed in horror crash
manchestereveningnews.co.ukGreater Manchester Police has issued an appeal for witnesses following a fatal crash in Rochdale this morning (July 11). Emergency services were called to Todmorden Road in Littleborough at around 7.30am following reports of a traffic collision.
Two vehicles, a Citroen Berlingo and a Kawasaki motorcycle, collided as the car was performing a turn at the junction of Ferrand Lodge.
Despite best attempts of emergency services once arriving on scene, the 35-year-old rider of the motorcycle was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.
His family are continuing to receive specialist support at this time.
