A police dog captured a boy of 16 after the youth had abandoned a stolen van which had been driven the wrong way down a motorway and hid in a kids' playpark.
The canine, named Hully, spang into action moments after traffic cops became suspicious about a Peugot Expert van as it was being driven through Gorton at 2.19am today (Monday).
The van sped away from Mount Road in Gorton, prompting a pursuit. It drove east along Hyde Road, followed by the traffic officers, before the van turned into oncoming traffic on the M60, according to Greater Manchester Police. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
