Police cordon off road with man rushed to hospital after horror bike crash outside pub

A man was rushed to hospital after a motorbike crash in Whitefield on Tuesday evening (June 18). Police, paramedics and fire crews cordoned off Higher Lane, outside the Eagle and Child pub, at around 9.30pm.

The collision involved one vehicle, a motorbike. The rider, a man, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Greater Manchester Police have been approached for more information. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: “At just after 9.30pm this evening (Tuesday 18 June), fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Higher Lane, Whitefield. “One fire engine from Whitefield Community Fire Station quickly attended the incident which involved one vehicle.
