A house was taped off by police after unconfirmed reports of a 'stabbing' on a residential street in Oldham on Thursday afternoon (June 29).
Eyewitnesses told the Manchester Evening News about a group of people fighting before seeing two men 'covered in blood' following the incident.
A section of Meldrum Street, near to the junction with Honeywell Lane, was cordoned off by police for some hours from around 4.30pm with a single house taped off later on into the evening.
Residents reported an air ambulance landing near to Alexandra Park around 5pm. Forensic officers were spotted at the scene while enquiries were carried out.
